She started her professional career with the Tamil drama movie Azhagan as Swapna in the year 1991.
Later she got featured in the Hindi action-romance movie Phool Aur Kaante as Pooja Salgaonkar.
She appeared in the Malayalam comedy movie Ottayal Pattalam as Gopika Varma/Indu the same year.
